SeaKing

SeaKing The Sea King series electrical connectors are a new Glenair development, specifically designed for offshore applications, for example in oil and gas industry, oceanic research and oceanography, marine industry and similar applications at most harsh environmental conditions.

In a submersible device, usually its whole system depends on the quality and waterproofness of a connector. In order to provide most possible the safety of your equipment, the Glenair specialists developed a specially robust and reliable series, which stays durably functional under roughest environmental conditions and keeps your expensive equipment from ingress of water. With its double O-ring seal, this product series is developed for long-term applications under pressurized water. This product series offers a variety of possible contact arrangements and designed for underwater connections up to 690 Bar pressure. SeaKing succeeded the full testing even with only one O-ring seal at the test pressure of 1000 bar. The titanium housing or stainless steel with one marine bronze retainer nut is corrosion-proof, and the gold-plated contacts provide a high-reliable connection and data transmission.
